Thursday, November 5, 2026
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ESTZOOM Virtual Session
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will host a Virtual Diversion Control Schedule I Researcher Webinar on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).
In this webinar, the subject matter expert (SME) will explain what you can expect when navigating the schedule I researcher registration process. The SME will cover how to submit new applications and how to make modifications to existing registrations. Both the traditional process and the new, expedited procedures under the HALT Fentanyl Act will be discussed. Our goal is to connect with the research community, to help you comply with the CSA, and eliminate the perception of barriers in the way of you doing your research.
Please see Agenda for details.
There is no registration fee for this session.
It is recommended that you register as early as possible. Participants who do not have an active DEA registration number will need to request assistance to register via VDAT@dea.gov. Participants will need to use the same e-mail address throughout the registration process.
