DEA Online Import and Export Procedures Virtual Seminar

The Diversion Control Division of the Drug Enforcement Administration is pleased to present a seminar about Import and Export procedures.
There is no registration fee for this event. Capacity is limited to the first 3,000 attendees.
DEA import/export specialists will review and demonstrate the online processes to apply for import/export permits for controlled substances, process import/export declaration for both listed chemicals and controlled substances and how to report to DEA the import/export/ domestic transactions for regulated machines (i.e. pill press/encapsulating machines).
The DEA import/export specialists will provide information regarding the following forms:
- DEA Form 486, Import/Export Declaration for List I and List II Chemicals
- DEA Form 486A, Import Declaration for ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, and phenylpropanolamine (including drug products containing these chemicals)
- DEA Form 236, Controlled Substances Import/Export Declaration
- DEA Form 161, Application for Permit to Export Controlled Substances
- DEA Form 161R, Application for Permit to Export Controlled Substances For Subsequent Reexport
- DEA Form 161R-EEA, Application for Permit to Export Controlled Substances For Subsequent Reexport
- DEA Form 357, Application for Permit to Import Controlled Substances for Domestic and/or Scientific Purposes
- DEA Form 452, Report For Regulated Machines
