DEA Virtual Diversion Awareness Training Sessions
The Rise of Stimulants Prescribing
December 11th, 2024

11:00AM-Noon and 2:00PM-3:00PM

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will host 2 one-hour Virtual Diversion Awareness Training Sessions (VDATS) for nurse practitioners, physician assistants and practitioners on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024. There will be an a.m. session held from 11:00 a.m. to noon and a p.m. session held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time (EST). Please note that both sessions will cover the same content.

These sessions will cover The Rise of Stimulants Prescribing: U.S. trends related to prescription stimulant prescribing from 2012-2022.

There is no registration fee for these sessions. Participants may only register for one (1) session.

Due to system limitations, each session will have a maximum capacity of 2,995 participants. It is recommended that you register as early as possible. Only participants who do not have an active DEA registration number will need to request assistance to register via VDAT@dea.gov. Participants will need to use the same e-mail address throughout the registration process.

Once registered, participants will receive an e-mail confirmation containing a link to complete a secondary registration. Upon the completion of the secondary registration, participants will receive a Zoom link required to access their selected training session.

This activity is approved for 1.00 contact hour of continuing education all of which may be applied towards Pharmacology by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners®. Activity ID# 24106924. This activity was planned in accordance with AANP Accreditation Standards and Policies. Here are the instructions on how to obtain CE credits.
