Ohio Pharmacy Diversion Awareness Conference
August 2 & 3, 2024

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in partnership with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy (OSBOP) is holding an Ohio Pharmacy Diversion Awareness Conference (PDAC) on Friday, August 2, and Saturday, August 3, 2024. This Ohio PDAC will be an 8-hour conference and will cover pharmacy burglaries and robberies, DEA recordkeeping, e-scripts, civil and criminal repercussions for failing to maintain records/inventories, OARRS and much much more. This conference will also provide all Pharmacists who attend with 6.5 hours of continuing education credits. It should be noted the same agenda will be on both days, so pick which day works with your schedule. See Agenda for details.
The Ohio PDAC will be held at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris Hotel, 409 Altair Parkway, Westerville, Ohio 43082. DEA Diversion Investigators from the Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus offices will be around both days to answer any questions you have, as well as representatives from the OSBOP will be present for any Ohio State questions or concerns.

The closest airport to the hotel is the John Glenn International Airport which is approximately is 20 minutes from the hotel. The hotel offers complementary parking for overnight guests and attendees.
Each one-day conference will be held in the Admiral Ballroom, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You must check in with DEA personnel before the start of the conference. Conference check-in will be from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. each day outside of the ballroom.
NOTE: You must be employed by a pharmacy or hospital/clinic that is registered with DEA in the state of Ohio, or a pharmacy student in that state.
Seating is limited at these conferences and it is recommended you register as early as possible.
